Things get going May 24 when the Ottawa BlackJacks host the 2022 champion Brampton Honey Badgers.

On its website, the CEBL, which is heading into its fifth season, says it is “a league created by Canadians for Canadians.”

There are 10 teams in the league including four in the home province of Ontario sports betting online and retail operators.

According to the CEBL, 71% of its 2022 rosters were comprised of Canadian players.

Players bring experience from the NBA, NBA G League, top international pro leagues, the Canadian national team program, top NCAA programs and U SPORTS.

Former CFL player Mike Morreale is commissioner and co-founder.

BetVictor, licensed and regulated as an Ontario sportsbook apps company, is offering odds for CEBL 2023 outright winner.
