iGaming Ontario released its market performance report for June 2026 on July 30. It shows that Ontario online casinos, sportsbooks and peer to peer poker platforms generated $400.6 million in non-adjusted gross gaming revenue, up 30.6 percent from $306.8 million in June 2025.
Total Wagers Approach $9.5 Billion
Players wagered $9.458 billion through Ontario's regulated market during June, up 30.3 percent from $7.26 billion a year earlier. The total was roughly unchanged from May, when wagers reached about $9.48 billion.
Casino Play Still Leads the Market
Online casino games generated $316.8 million in revenue during June, up 30.4 percent from $243 million in June 2025. The figure was down from May's record $326.4 million. Casino wagers totaled about $8.30 billion during June, making up the largest share of the regulated market. Ontario had 47 licensed operators and 81 active gaming websites as of late June, with 70 websites offering casino gaming. DAZN Bet launched in Ontario on June 30, adding another option among the newest online casinos in Ontario.
Sports Betting Gets a World Cup Boost
Sports betting handle reached $1.033 billion in June, up 34.5 percent year over year and 6 percent from May. Sports betting revenue totaled $78.6 million, up 34.4 percent from June 2025. The start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosted jointly by the United States, Mexico and Canada, helped support sports betting activity during June.
Poker, Players and What the Numbers Cover
Peer to peer online poker wagering totaled $126 million in June, down 6 percent from May, generating $5.2 million in revenue, a 4 percent decline from the prior month. Ontario counted 1.319 million active player accounts during the month, up about 30 percent from a year earlier. Average revenue per active account was $304, down 8 percent from May. iGaming Ontario's report covers operators with agreements with the agency and does not include OLG's online gaming operations.
