Ontario online gambling picked up two new operators recently. Hard Rock Bet went live in the province on July 22, and DAZN Bet launched its platform on June 30. Both companies announced Ontario launches this summer, entering the province's regulated gaming market.
Hard Rock Bet's Ontario Launch
Hard Rock Digital announced that Hard Rock Bet is now available in Ontario, calling it the company's first market outside the United States. The platform includes more than 3,000 online casino games along with a full sportsbook. Marlon Goldstein, Executive Managing Director and CEO of Hard Rock Digital, said the expansion reflects the brand's investment in local talent and localized support for Ontario players. Hard Rock Bet is available through HardRockBet.ca and through apps on iOS and Android. New casino players can claim a launch offer that includes bonus spins and a lossback on slot play during their first day, though full terms apply.
New Online Casinos in Ontario From DAZN
DAZN Bet's arrival adds to the list of new online casinos in Ontario this year. The streaming company launched its sportsbook and online casino website in the province on June 30, its first entry into the North American market. DAZN Bet CEO Valery Gelfman said the company is entering Ontario with a long term approach focused on integrity and responsible play. A mobile Ontario casino app is expected to follow soon.
A Growing Regulated Market
Ontario's igaming market has been open for more than four years and continues to attract new operators. As of July, the province has 48 operators running 82 licensed gaming websites, according to iGaming Ontario. Hard Rock Bet and DAZN Bet are the newest additions to that list.
