Soft2Bet's ToonieBet officially launched their Ontario sportsbook on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store on Tuesday.

The mobile app can be downloaded at either one of those sites and is specifically tailored for local players, featuring promotions and a loyalty rewards program.

Soft2Bet will provide their customers with access to over 85,000 live events each month and more than 70,000 pre-match events across a wide range of sports.

"As Soft2Bet continues our rapid growth, we are excited to provide Ontario players with access to ToonieBet's sportsbook which is now available on the Apple App and Google Play Store, offering seamless access to a customised experience tailored for the province’s passionate gaming community," said Yoel Zuckerberg, Soft2Bet’s Chief Product Officer in an official news release.

ToonieBet launched in Canada in late 2024 and today's announcement brings more options for potential customers to download the sportsbook app on two other platforms.

Compliments Ottawa Senators partnership

Tuesday's announcement compliments their recent-announced partnership with the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, which made ToonieBet the Official Online Casino Partner of the team.

The partnership includes in-arena branding, digital promotions, and fan engagement initiatives like social contests, allowing ToonieBet to connect with Ontario sports fans to win team merchandise and tickets.

The Senators (45-30-7) were eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs by the Toronto Maple Leafs last Thursday with a 4-2 loss in Game 6 of the best-of-7 Eastern Conference First Round. Ottawa is now 0-5 all-time in playoff series against their Battle of Ontario rivals from Toronto.

Ottawa made the playoffs as the first wild card from the Eastern Conference, marking their first postseason appearance since 2017, when they lost Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Ontario Expanding Marketplace

Back in mid-April, Ontario sportsbook PowerPlay launched a new localized platform for Ontario players with an enhanced sportsbook and casino, comparable to what and who ToonieBets is trying to reach.

Currently, there are 27 legalized sports betting apps in Ontario.
