BetMGM Ontario announced Monday the opening of its branded live dealer studio and the expansion of its Ontario online casino games portfolio.
It is the first investment in the BetMGM Casino platform there since the fully regulated online casino and sports betting markets launched on April 4, according to a news release.
Two weeks ago in Ontario, BetMGM Casino Ontario offered a collection of Evolution titles through its live dealer studios in Europe, but today it launched a studio of its own, built in partnership with Evolution.
“BetMGM is proud to continue Ontario launch celebrations through the rollout of our dedicated live dealer studio and the expansion of our slot and table games portfolio on BetMGM Casino,” Matthew Sunderland, vice president of gaming for BetMGM, said in a release Monday. “Through our live offering, the goal is to strengthen Ontarians’ touchpoints with our iconic, black-and-gold BetMGM brand. By more than doubling our games count through in-house, exclusive games, and relationships with our partners, we’re pleased to bring a larger piece of what’s become the industry’s best portfolio in the U.S. to our new players in Canada.”
Ontario is BetMGM’s first international market and the 23rd overall in which a BetMGM product is available, according to a news release that announced the launch on April 4. Two days after sports betting and iGaming went live, BetMGM announced that its Ontario poker platform also launched.
BetMGM Sportsbook Ontario was recently named a sports betting partner of the NHL, along with FanDuel.
Six Live Blackjack Tables
The private BetMGM studio has six live casino blackjack tables and players will still be able to access the Evolution portfolio of online live casino games (including elements of popular game shows), Evolution First Person games, along with NetEnt and Red Tiger online slots, the release said.
In addition, the company announced a release of 108 new slot and video table games on BetMGM Casino, bringing its games count to over 170 games on iOS.
Expansion on BetMGM’s Ontario online casino includes 30 titles like MGM Grand Millions, Premium Blackjack Pro and Mega Mirage Magma, and will also feature games from BetMGM partners NetEnt (Divine Fortune, Gonzo’s Quest), IGT (Cleopatra, Wheel of Fortune Megaways), Pariplay (Jackpot Fortunes, Spirit of Mustang), and Pragmatic Play (Cash Bonanza, Treasure Wild), the release said.
BetMGM Casino also features more than 700 slots, table, and variety games on both Android and desktop, according to the release.
