After a decent start to the regular season, it’s not out of the ballpark to see the Toronto Blue Jays as a playoff contender. As of June 10, the club sits tied atop the AL’s Wild Card standings at 36-30 with Toronto Blue Jays playoff odds looking realistic after a recent hot stretch (winning 10 of 12).

With that in mind, OntarioBets.com broke down which Jays players have the best odds of making the American League roster for the All-Star Game, which is July 15. Toronto’s $500 million man is leading the charge in 2025.

Blue Jays MLB All-Star Game Candidates

Given his 1.7 Wins Above Replacement through 65 games this season (per Baseball-Reference.com) and leaguewide popularity with baseball fans, it seems like a no-brainer that Jays slugger Vladimir Guerrero will make the AL roster for the Mid-Summer Classic in Atlanta this July.

That’s why we give the Jays’ star first baseman -130 odds of making the cut. Vladito has eight home runs and 29 RBIs, a 125 OPS+ and .801 OPS this season. His WAR ranks second on the team behind third baseman Ernie Clement, who is at 1.9 after the games of June 9.

Other Jays who could make the AL team include catcher Alejandro Kirk, who comes in at +125 odds, outfielder George Springer (+140) and shortstop Bo Bichette (+650). MLB betting in Ontario will include prop wagers on these players and many more.

Kirk is hitting .316, the best average on the team, plus he plays catcher and that’s not a deep position in the AL for All-Star consideration.

Springer, through 61 games, leads Jays hitters in home runs (10) this season and has 29 RBIs, tied for second alongside Guerrero and Kirk, nine behind Bichette (38). The veteran outfielder also leads regular players on the team with an .857 OPS.

Bichette, 27, has achieved a bit of a renaissance season in 2025, rebounding from last year’s minus-0.3 WAR campaign. The shortstop has increased his average from .225 in 2024 to .269 through 66 games played this season, with more RBIs than he had in 81 games a year ago (31). All in all, the seventh-year veteran shortstop is among the leaders to make the AL ASG team come mid-July. These Jays hoping to play well over the next few weeks to bolster their resumes for inclusion while also giving Toronto a leg up in the postseason chase this fall.

NorthStar Bets Ontario Sportsbook is giving the Jays +1400 odds of catching the New York Yankees in the AL East pennant chase, ranking ahead of the Tampa Bay Rays (+1600) for the second-best odds in the five-team division.

Yes. With +125 odds and a 44.5% chance, Kirk is considered a strong contender, especially among catchers in the AL.

It’s possible. Springer has +140 odds, giving him a 41.6% shot at making the AL roster in 2025.

Statistically, yes. His +650 odds reflect only a 13.3% chance, but a hot streak could change the narrative quickly.
