Famous Brands Top Ontario Search List

The home of casino apps Ontario also boasts its own active beer scene. But the most searched brands in the province are the ones that are popular in the United States as well.

Budweiser and its lower-calorie counterpart, Bud Light, top the list of most searched Ontario beer brands. Bud had a search interest score of 16 followed by Bud Light at 14.

Brewing giant InBev owns the Bud brand as well as Corona, which is third on our list with a search interest score of 11.

Canadian Beer Brand Lands at No. 4

The top five most searched beer brands in Ontario fall under the same corporate umbrella, Molson Coors, a result of two major brands merging. The Molson name has been notable in Canada for centuries and continues to be — of interest to those using Ontario sportsbooks, the family now owns the Montreal Canadiens and the team’s home, the Bell Centre.

Molson Canadian is at No. 4 on our list with a search volume of 8. By its full name, The Molson Coors Beverage Company, the organization’s stocks are traded in New York and on the Canadian Stock Exchange.

Molson Canadian Lager is a flagship brand for the brand that, according to its website, was founded as Molson Brewery in 1786, making it Canada’s second-oldest company.

Coors Light tops our five most-searched beer brands with a volume of 3.

Note to longtime fans of Bob and Doug McKenzie of SCTV and “Strange Brew” fame: Elsinore Beer was, in fact, a fictional brand that became a real brand a few years ago. Beauty, eh? But it still doesn't show up on our list.
