Bills-Eagles Prop Bets Drawing Most Ontario Sportsbooks Action

Bills-Eagles Prop Bets Drawing Most Ontario Sportsbooks Action

A video from the sidelines during the Buffalo Bills’ big win over the New York Jets last weekend said a lot about the mindset of the Bills as they were pounding the 4-6 Jets.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen, a popular target for fans and perhaps Ontario sportsbooks bettors in recent weeks largely because of his turnovers (he has 12 interceptions, one behind league leader Sam Howell of Washington), yelled “I feel like I’m (expletive) back,” after an 81-yard catch and run to wide receiver Khalil Shakir. The Bills won the game 32-6.

It was a big win because it at least changed the conversation somewhat. But it’s not going to make this weekend’s task for Buffalo (6-5) – a visit Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Sunday (4:25 p.m. Eastern, CBS) to take on the 9-1 Eagles – any easier. The Eagles are fresh off a huge Monday night win over the 7-3 Kansas City Chiefs. The Eagles are Super Bowl favorites at major Ontario sports betting apps.

Josh Allen Reaction To Win Over Jets

“I thought we ran the ball extremely well and I think that's what opened up a lot of things for our offence,” Allen told reporters this week. “(The Eagles) are a really good team with a really good quarterback and really good defence, so it's going to take all three phases for us to go win this game. I'm just trying to be myself out there and whatever it calls for me and you know whatever emotions I'm feeling. I feel like I play with my emotions on my sleeve. Maybe I've been masking that the last few games or throughout this season, but I need to let my guys know how much I care about this game, how much I care about them.”

The Bills last week had 32 points against one of the best defences in the NFL, a good first game for new offensive coordinator Joe Brady. Statistically, the Eagles D isn’t at the level of the Jets – especially against the pass, where they’ve allowed 21 passing TDs, third-most in the league – and an average of 248 passing yards per game (28th).

Bills Vs. Eagles Odds

But oddsmakers aren’t feeling as bullish about the Bills going into the Eagles game. DraftKings has the moneyline at Eagles 1.62, Bills 2.36 in decimal odds, with a spread of Bills +3 (1.95), Eagles -3 (1.87). NorthStar Bets Ontario Sportsbook has a better price on the Bills as of Friday morning at 2.43, with the Eagles 1.57. The spread with that operator is also Eagles by 3 at slightly different prices (Bills 1.97, Eagles 1.85).

The Bills have a ton of injuries. According to ESPN, S Taylor Rapp (neck), CB Taron Johnson (concussion), S Micah Hyde (neck) and CB Dane Jackson (concussion) are all questionable. TE Dawson Knox is still on injured reserve with that wrist issue. For Philadelphia, TE Dallas Goedert (forearm) is out; RB D’Andre Swift (ankle), TE Grant Calcaterra (ankle) and WR A.J. Brown (thigh) are listed as questionable.

FanDuel Ontario Sportsbook reports “a lot of love for Philly” among bettors, with 63% of bets on Eagles -3.
